Position Description |

Expressions of interest are now invited from experienced IT project managers and senior business analysts who are prepared to take on large scale ($5M+) overseas assignments for up to 6 months if required.
SMS is currently in the process of negotiations in Hong Kong and Singapore and is keen to recruit senior project managers and business analysts who can work for up to six months in one of these Asian cities. Return airfares are provided every 8 weeks as well as a living away from home allowance for the duration of a project.
If successful in your application you may be called upon to complete any of the following:
- Take responsibility for management of all phases of the project lifecycle
- Be fully responsible for financial control of project budgets
- Deliver schedules and costing for large scale tenders
- Establish a methodology for system deployment and delivery
- Review processes and systems designs to ensure appropriate technology is selected
- Identify, develop and update standards where necessary
- Develop IT plans based on an understanding of a client’s organisational strategic direction
- Produce OO design deliverables using Case Tools
- Train staff on design and development processes
- Implement quality control and programming standards
- Create detailed and accurate documentation
